Tina suggested that she and Terry attend another dance. Skyrockets of memory burst inside his brain as he recalled how this whole episode in his life had began. The three women watched him anxiously as he just sat there lost in his thoughts. Thinking that she might have ruined everything, Tina sat there looking more tense than the others. She would die if she had destroyed the beautiful new friend she had in Terry. Finally he spoke. "I'd like that. It would be nice to see all of those people again. "1 The women broke into cheers at his reply. "There's one tomorrow night," said gleefully. "Great. Pick me up at seventhirty. And you'd better dress pretty or you'll be lost round me!" he warned.

The girls went outside and Cindy talked. Susan. "You've done it," she admitted. "Yes, I have. And he's beautiful! He'd learned to love what my real daughter refused to accept. I haven't been this happy in years!" Susan answered almost in tears. "You've done a fine job on him. He and Tina get along like two sisters! He's even taught her a few new make-up tricks," she said as both women chuckled. "I'll guess I'll see you tomorrow Good night." "Good night, Cindy. And thanks for your encouragement and understanding!

CHAPTER SIXTEEN

Terry was so nervous and excited about going to the dance he didn't think he could get ready alone, so he asked Susan and Cindy to help him. Once again Cindy set his hair for him while Susan manicured his nails and gave them a coat of polish The women joked and laughed as they worked on him. Things had changed so much since the last dance. Now he was asking them to dress him up!

While they were choosing his dress he pulled on a pair of pantyhose and his bra. He added a little extra padding as the women watched with delight and amusement. "Just like one of us girls!" Cindy squealed. Susan helped him into a slip and then both women steadied him as he climbed into the petticoats. Susan had to put his shoes on him as he couldn't see his feet under all of the stiff rustling material. The women lowered the dress down over his head and helped him tuck his arms into the sleeves.

It was a beautiful garment with big puffy sleeves and lace trim everywhere. Terry spun across the room and sent the skirt flying! He was in heaven in that dress! He returned to the vanity and sat down for the final preparation. Susan began to carefully apply his make-up. Since he was such an expert at it now he kept making suggestions. "Stop telling the artist how to paint!" she complained with a laugh. "I thought that you were too nervous to do it yourself?" Cindy asked. "I am," he replied. "Then just keep quiet and let us do our work!" she commanded jokingly. "I think we've created a monster, Cindy," Susan commented. She continued to smooth the face make-up on him
